Exploring the Beauty of France with Coco de Chom

Exploring the Beauty of France with Coco de Chom

As a avid traveler, I'm always on the lookout for new adventures and experiences. This past summer, I had the incredible opportunity to combine these passions by taking a trip to France with my Coco de Chom clothes in tow. Before starting my first year of college, I set out to explore some of the country's most iconic destinations, from Paris to the French Riviera and beyond. It was a journey filled with breathtaking scenery, delicious food, and, of course, plenty of opportunities to show off my favorite Coco de Chom pieces. Join me as I recount the highlights of my unforgettable trip to France.

The adventure began in Paris, where we kicked things off with a visit to the one and only Eiffel Tower. After a long flight and a bit of jetlag, I was so excited to slip into my Luna Maxi dress and head straight to 22 Rue de Universite - the best spot for a view of the tower. Now, I have to admit, finding this spot wasn't exactly a walk in the park. It took me about an hour of wandering around the area to finally locate the perfect vantage point. But let me tell you, it was well worth the effort. The view of the Eiffel Tower from this spot was absolutely breathtaking, and I felt so lucky to be there at that moment.

With my Luna Tie Dye Maxi dress, I felt stylish, confident and ready to explore the city. After spending some time at the Eiffel Tower, we decided to explore the area a bit more. We walked further and eventually stumbled upon a perfect spot with great sunlight at 5 pm. It was the perfect opportunity to capture some photos, and I have to say, the lighting made everything look even more beautiful.

But the Eiffel Tower wasn't the only famous monument we visited during our trip. We also made sure to stop by the Arc de Triomphe, which offered a stunning view of the city. There's just something about that Summer Dress that makes me feel effortlessly chic and stylish, no matter what the setting.

One thing I love about Coco de Chom is how versatile the pieces are. I always felt comfortable and stylish in my Coco de Chom clothes.  I truly believe that these pieces are perfect for anyone who wants to feel confident and fashionable no matter where their travels may take them. It was all about packing pieces that could be mixed and matched to create different outfits, as well as choosing clothes that could easily transition from day to night.

Cafe in Paris

The next day, we continued our journey and made our way to the stunning Palace of Versailles. But before, we had breakfast at the charming “Le Petit Cafe” de Montmartre, which was filled with adorable bees buzzing about.

It was almost like something out of a storybook. Speaking of storybook settings, we also stumbled upon a Montmartre street that looked like it had been pulled straight from Pinterest. The charming architecture and colorful storefronts were the perfect backdrops for some more photos.

As we approached the Palace of Versailles, I couldn't help but feel awed by the grandeur of the place. The palace's immense size and elaborate gardens are a testament to the wealth and power of the French monarchy during the 17th and 18th centuries. We spent hours exploring the palace's various rooms, each one more opulent than the last. From the Hall of Mirrors to the King's State Apartment, every inch of the palace was a feast for the eyes.

No trip to Paris would be complete without a visit to the Louvre museum. As we made our way through the massive building, I couldn't wait to see some of the world's most famous works of art in person. Of course, I had to stop by and say hello to the Mona Lisa - a painting that has captivated people for centuries. As I stood in front of the masterpiece, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and wonder. It was truly a humbling experience to be in the presence of such a renowned piece of art. And, as always, I made sure to snap a few photos of the painting - a memory that I'll cherish for years to come.

But as much as I loved exploring Paris, I knew it was time to say goodbye and move on to our next adventure. We left Paris on a speed train and made our way down to the beautiful French Riviera. But that's a story for another time - be sure to check out our French Riviera trip post to hear all about our adventures in France!

As I sit here reflecting on my incredible trip to France, I can't help but feel grateful for all the experiences I had and the memories I made. And of course, I'm so happy I brought along our collections to wear along the way - they made every experience that much more special.
